Natural landscape in Berjaya Langkawi Resort
The beach was amazing. The water was warm (29°C) and the beach is white sand (no pebbles or stones). The entrance to the sea was flat, the depth of the water goes to neck up to fourty meters from the beach (varies depending on whether it's high tide or low tide). The location is 20 min from airport on car and 10 min walk from Oriental Village and the Sky Cable / Sky Bridge, etc. We also tried the Taaras Spa (one scrub program, one foot relaxology massage and one 90 min Taaras massage). The three of us went happy out. Amenities are great. At breakfast there are multiple open kitchen stations (several egg stations preparing fried eggs or omelets, pancakes station, and separate Roti station). At every station one can choose ingredients for his/her food to be prepared of. Those guys work from 7 a.m. till 10 a.m. under 38°C every morning! The juices are a separate pleasure. They also offer fresh juices in the Beach Brasserie, milkshakes in Dayong Cafe & Beach Brasserie, and mocktails. Look for Temperance Drinks (section without photos) in the Beach Brasserie menu, and try Funky Monkey there. It's amazing! Also thanks for keeping up the great work with nature preservation (we saw each tree numbered), and with the whole ecocare approach. Special thanks to the Vallet Team, Great friendly overworking team (24 hrs), the Room Service Team and especially the Sports & Recreational Team! The Vallet / Shuttle Team also offers a free shuttle each 2 hrs to Orinetal Village / Sky Cable from hotel. And the Sports & Recreational Team beyond usual water activities offer Bird Watching Tour (on the hotel territory, which flora & fauna is rich), they also provide tour from hotel to the Kilim Geoforest Park with options: group (day or night) & private, diving & fishing, island hopping, jungle walking & zipline, and so on. Don't pass by their table opposite to Registration counter, where the Spa table is also located.

The best place I've ever been to. A beautifully located hotel on a vast area, nestled in the jungle, right by the sea. The sounds of the jungle and the ocean waves are always present. Amazing views. A very nice, large, and clean beach. There is also a pool, but we didn’t use it. The bungalows are spread out over a large area, but golf carts continuously shuttle guests around. Overall, the hospitality and friendliness of the staff are incredible. Everyone smiles and greets you; it's clearly part of their nature. It's worth dining at the resort's restaurants; we visited three, and the Chinese restaurant, Oriental Pearl, had the best food for us. The Thai restaurant located at the end of the resort is also worth mentioning, offering good food and breathtaking views, especially at sunset. The guest relations department sends daily WhatsApp messages to ensure everything is okay, and if there’s an issue, it's immediately resolved (once we were short by one towel). The minibar is replenished daily at no extra charge. It includes drinks like cola, Sprite, and beer, as well as nuts, chips, and of course, water. This was the first time I've encountered such an option when we only had breakfast included. Beach towels are available for free. The beach bar offers delicious burgers and pizzas. Overall: I hope to return here someday. I've never felt so good anywhere else!! And remember, the island itself has a lot to offer too!!

I vacationed with my father this summer from August 10 to 19. We lived in the Rainforest Chalet. the hotel fully justifies its 5 stars. yes, the rooms are not very new, but everything works, everything is very comfortable: mattresses, pillows, shower, internet. Cleaning in rooms is of the highest level. we had breakfast and dinner. breakfasts are standard and delicious. and here are the dinners!!! better than Michelin level restaurants!!! one feels that the products are not bought for future use with preservatives, but everything is always fresh. To those who write that the choice is not great, I will answer - in 9 days, not everyone had time to try. excellent beach, very friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere in the evening on the beach, excellent quality live music! the people working at the hotel are mega positive and well-mannered!

The setting is magnificent - rainforest on the seashore with interesting wildlife to be spotted (e.g. monkeys and flying squirrels). Watching monkeys fooling around at the resort was probably the highlight of our 3-week long Malaysia trip. While the resort stretches a couple of hundred metres along the shore, 24/7 electric buggy service is available to ferry guests around if needed. The rooms are spacious. The food offering is quite good and mostly quite reasonably priced. The setting for the Thai restaurant is amazing.

Amazing stay, staff friendly and helpful, recommend breakfast at the boat brasserie (quiet - no queuing and a great view overlooking the beach!). Favourite restaurant was the Thai - great in the evening to watch the sunset and recommend an evening at the Boat house on the beach with a cocktail or 2 and have live music / events. Spa worth a visit whilst your there. Great choice of food and drinks are good value at the resort. Recommend some of the excursions eg Mangrove boat trip.
